This tale highlights Vietnam’s deep connection with rice cultivation, which can be witnessed throughout the country. While rice is typically grown in flat plains in the central and southern regions of Vietnam, the northern part of the country boasts stunning terraces carved into the mountainsides. Mù Cang Chải
Mù Cang Chải is a humble district with a breathtaking secret. The area is home to arguably the most spectacular rice terraces in Vietnam. Built by the H’mong ethnic minority, who have farmed this land for over twenty generations, these terraces cover more than 2,000 hectares and stretch as far as the eye can see. Photographers from all over the world flock to Mù Cang Chải during harvest season to capture its jaw-dropping beauty.

Y Tý
