Location & History

While it’s challenging to pinpoint Hoi An’s most ancient and beautiful spot, the Tran Family Chapel certainly claims its place among the city’s treasures. Built by Tran Tu Nhac, a highly-respected mandarin under the reign of Gia Long, this historical house served as a place of worship for the family’s ancestors. Today, it stands as a testament to the family’s traditions and can be found at 21 Le Loi Street, nestled within the enchanting old town of Hoi An.

Crafted from precious wood and topped with pan-tiles, the house showcases the timeless beauty of Asian architecture.
