Visit Ethnic Villages in Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Pu Luong Nature Reserve is one of the country’s lesser-known ecotourism and trekking spots. Established in 1999, it aims to protect the area’s biodiversity. With over 17,600 hectares of total area, you’ll find a mix of pristine forest, cultivated rice terraces, and cute little villages of ethnic people. The Thai and Muong people call this place home, and you can admire their unique built-on-stilt houses, observe their harvesting activities and see them working on the terraced rice fields. Don Village, Son Village, Ba Village, Muoi Village, and Pu Luong peak are some of the featured spots worth exploring in Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

Explore Pho Doan Market

Make sure to visit Pho Doan Market, located in Lung Niem Commune, Ba Thuoc District, Thanh Hoa Province. This market offers a glimpse into the local trading activities of ethnic people. Here, you can purchase traditional silk costumes, tube wine, fresh fruits, mountainous vegetables, and other local products from the Kinh, Muong, and Thai minorities.
