Nestled just 9km south of Danang city center along the stunning Truong Sa beachfront boulevard, lies one of the most captivating attractions in the region – the Marble Mountains. Comprised of five majestic marble and limestone mountains, these natural wonders derive their names from the five elements of ancient oriental philosophy: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.

A Journey Through Time and Nature
The Marble Mountains boast a complex network of caves and tunnels, which were once secret hideouts and critical bases for the Vietnamese revolutionaries. Today, they offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into history and nature’s captivating allure.
Thuy Son and Vong Giang
Among the five mountains, Thuy Son, the mountain of water, stands as the highest peak and the primary attraction. Climbing Thuy Son is a must-do for nearly every tourist visiting the Marble Mountains. This mountain is adorned with numerous caves and ancient Buddhist temples, some dating back to the 17th century.

Ascend approximately 150 stone steps from the foot of Thuy Son, and you’ll find yourself at the most splendid observatory spot: the Riverview Tower, also known as Vong Giang Tower. Built in the 18th century by Emperor Minh Mang, this tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of Kim Son (the mountain of metal), Truong Giang and Cam Le rivers, and the picturesque coastal landscape that lies ahead.
Non Nuoc Village
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Non Nuoc Village, situated at the base of the Marble Mountains. This village is renowned for its exquisite stone sculptures and handicrafts. Here, you can purchase an array of marble stone products, ranging from delicate earrings, necklaces, and vases to magnificent Buddha sculptures. While in the past, the rocks were directly extracted from the Marble Mountains for sculpting, such practices are now prohibited. The materials used for sculpting are transported from neighboring provinces like Quang Nam and Thanh Hoa.
